Hello Dave, You did a great job with your videoCast. The video that you chose is very interesting since it is a different approach in teaching. There are strategies that they use in the Khan Academy that may work for certain students, but not for all. For example, there are students that will have a hard time with motivation and being on task and on time with assignments. It is good, though, that the teachers meet with their students unlike a purely online class. I agree with you that one of the factors that will make this a success is Parent involvement since the students work independently most of the time.

I think you did a fantastic job analyzing the use of Khan academy. I also liked that you included clips to support your perspective. Finally in terms of the challenges you presented I believe you offered some viable solutions that would work with your classroom!
